    I dont mean to bomb our forum with external info, but this write up is amazing.

    Yea that's a good reference, I used it when I did the mfactory install. What they don't tell you is how to hold the gears from spinning when you crank the shaft nuts down

    I'm looking for an e series write up like that lol..

        leave the 5th gear shift fork rollpin out, and engage another gear & 5th at the same time - the shafts will lock together because the gears are different ratios and everything binds fast. No harm to the transmission, and super easy way to remove the shaft nuts
