If your Festiva is an automatic, the axles will work.
Rio axles fit...
Festiva auto transmissions.
G series transmissions.
and of course, Rio transmissions.
Keep in mind that Rio axles are larger in diameter. You probably don't need to, but I would swap both.Last edited by JPT; 07-25-2013, 01:05 PM.Festiva: Because even my dog can build a Honda.

Geo, you might want to grab the Steering knuckles with calipers, rotors, and hoses, Front struts with springs and mounts. Even if you don't plan to upgrade the suspension right now, you can save them for a later time when/if you decide to.Last edited by Team Lightning; 07-25-2013, 03:14 PM.Jerry

That's a good idea.Originally posted by moz View PostTake the gearbox!!!
Swap it in with brakes, and driveshafts.
Easy job and a huge improvement.
You'll need aspire LCA's to adapt to the longer drive shafts.
BTW, you can use Festiva LCAs (I'm using them). The fit is tighter than stock, but works just fine.Festiva: Because even my dog can build a Honda.

A Rio 5 speed fits like it came from the factory. Just make some minor cross member mods.Originally posted by MiltonHavoc View PostThe Rio.gearbox fits.festivals? Auto gearbox?
A Rio automatic will physically bolt on, but it's electronically controlled. If you can figure out how to control it, it would make a good swap. No one has done it yet.Festiva: Because even my dog can build a Honda.

The shift linkage too.Originally posted by geoacuraisuzu View Postmy festiva is manual and so is the rio and i was already getting the front brakes and struts but im now wondering what else will fit and work plus i have a bp im getting from a friend of mine dirt cheap and i plan on swapping it in my car lolLast edited by JPT; 07-26-2013, 11:47 AM.Festiva: Because even my dog can build a Honda.
