When rules came out to forbid removing material to polish the inside of heads and intake manifolds hot dog the following year he was 'caught' with a winning car that had beautifully polished parts but that had been lined with a type of paint first. Strictly speaking he hadn't removed factory material at all in order to smooth the runners! So more new rules came out but he always came out on top.

Well geez man in that case

          .
Joking aside there were several fox models such as the t-bird and lsc mark vii that were a lot bigger than my mustangs's tank, over 20G. If they are attached the same way with the really lame but effective straps design then that is awesome.

              that should clear it up.
              Perfect, thanks for clarifying!

Well, sorta. You can, but there are a lot of extra regulations required to make it work. What's more, there are rule changes in the works and these types of cells my be banned all together very soon. They really want FIA cells with bladders unfortunately.

It would certainly be the next major improvement step for us, still not sure what our future plans entail though.

With gusto I read through this thread after taking a hiatus from racing and my Festiva. No aux tanks can be used in conjunction with the OEM tank for Lemons. Swapping In a good solid unmodified OEM tank is the only option. I would love to hear how you are doing on this research. We can go only 2 hrs before a fillup from the tiny Festiva tank. I like the idea of the fuel cell and placing the weight further forward but the cost has stopped us as well.
We will be racing March 1 at ECR.
