Is there any such thing? Even ebay is showing spec stage 1 costing 179 and up. I want something to hold the 80 horses from a b6, the clutch I have now does pretty good but one or two days a week I can get it to slip, and it stinks!

This stage 2 clutch kit is $233.09 including shipping.
I know its far away from the $130 but they're out there.
Online you could also find the seperate components.
I.e. the stage 2 clutch disc by itself is $99.
Stage 2 pressure plate $129.
But I think you would want them both since the pressure plate would be providing the extra clamping force
While the disc would create more gripping force..
So the kit would be the best option.
I wonder if these stage 2 clutch kits would work on the aspire?

In the Neon world there is a combo that uses an Audi/VW pressure plate to create 100% of the improvement. Stock flywheel, stock clutch disc, but an 1800psi(iirc) clamping force OE Audi pressure plate.
You could definitely just do the beefy pressure plate to get a good setup. This retains near stock engagement character too, or at least it did on the Neon/Audi mutt.
EDIT: I did not recall correctly. It was 2500psi.

I still have a fms clutch kit sitting in my closet waiting for the right day :-)
It would probably suit your needs.
My question is... Does anyone know what brand clutch kits fms was selling?
I've used an exedy on the last aspire and the fms clutch looks nothing like it.
The fms clutch seems to have thicker clutch material and the springs in the center have mini springs inside of them.
