any ideas of how to delet a mfs on a 1.3 engine tryin for a cold air intake

  • #2
Mfs? Are you taking about the vaf that the filter box bolts to? If so, the only way to delete it would be a different management system. Something like mega squirt. To add the cone filter, you need an adapter to bolt to the end of the vaf. You can then install the cone filter. You must have the vaf in the system for the motor to run.

I don't have a VAF for my electric fuel pump relay. I use a Revolution Electronics module to monitor the tach signal instead.

sorry about the wrong definition for the sensor but what if I put a inline mass air flow sensor on it instead would that be compatible

I don't know how the VAF and MAF outputs compare but the VAF includes a fuel pump switch (kills the pump if there is no air moving)
