That sounds like a good plan. The nice thing about doing it that way is your free to mod the body a lot more to fit more tire under the car. With these cars becoming more rare, its hard to cut a solid car without wondering if you're going to regret it down the road. I also have a rusty shell that I got from Virginia and I'm putting a cage in it and building a dedicated track car.
