  • XR2 engine anyone

I'll bet this engine would be perfect for a swap:

That would be amazing to get ahold of for a swap but for that price I'm not really sure though.

There is an xr2 in Sparks Nevada on the Pick-n-Pull website so there is a turbo 1600 available for anybody near there

Aren't the '93 turbo models super-rare, and more valued?

I'm thinking it's the 94 but I could be wrong.

It would make for an expensive swap. I paid $250 for my '91 and drove it 1,300 miles to get back home. Sold the hardtop for $200 and sold each window regulator/motor assembly for $100. Also sold a blue module to control the hide away headlights for $150. Miles on the car were 170K. Changed the oil before I left Chicago and made it back home with no problems. The oil stayed clean and it didn't use a drop. Even I get lucky once in a while.
'88 Festiva LX 5 speed, A/C, Carb, restored $$$ body paint, badly wrecked @ 200k.
'93 Festiva L, 5 speed, Aqua, bought from the original owner,.Zero rust but very nasty otherwise. Awaits the B6T.
'91 Festiva L, 5 speed, bought to drive while putting the B6T in the '93. now B6ME powered.

Nope thats the 94. Only 366 XR2's for 1994. Lots of unique parts over the 91-93 too. I have one I'm parting out at the moment. #186.
