Well after about 2 years of lurking on here and gathering parts & knowledge Ive successfully swaped a 40 000 km b8-me from a 92 protege into my 96 Aspire. Im using the Aspire starting & charging circuts and the complete protege engine harness. The wiring was extremely difficult and had I known it was going to be this difficult I would have never attempted it. Anyways, Im still in the process of doing the permanent wiring, tach, oilpress, coolant temp,ect. I hope to have a complete how to posted by the fall. here is a crappy camera phone pic of the motor in the car.
