i am going to be attempting some sort of flare on my car to give it some more clearance. I haven't decided what I am going to use or how I am going to do it yet but it will be done... Well it needs to be done before next spring when I pull her out of the garage again.90 festiva BP/G25MR swap, spec v seats, aspire brakes, FMS springs, round headlight conversion with HID's, custom exhaust, fiberglass hood, and a whole lotta bodywork

I've been looking at Miata flares, cheapest so far. I know that the Festiva doesn't have round fenders (obviously) but it's a start.
Thoughts? Why no, officer. I don't know how fast I was going. My speedometer only goes up to 85...

I have the feeling that those Miata flares might require a lot of fiberglassing to fit the flat fenders of a Festiva, since they're molded to follow the Miata's curvacious fenders. I still think MkII Golf GTI flares would fit better:
Plus, you could link those flares together by using that lower valence/side skirt, after you've trimmed it for lenght of course.
My 2 centsThe left lane? Are you crazy!!! I never drive in the left lane...It's full of freaks driving the wrong way and charging right at you!!!

They are in the junk yards all the time. You can try some off a corolla te27 or unversal fiberglass ones, they would be your best bet because they are not abs plastic.---------------------------------------------------

I'm due to update him again. It's painted. He's waiting for help to get it to shift. He's done it all himself and he's 71 (about).
