New LED Brakelights

I installed a set of high power LED brake lights today (as pictured below) and these things are great. They're the first LEDs I've ever seen that are just as bright as regular bulbs. To install them, I had to make a very slight enlargement of the hole where the bulbs go into the tail light housings, but it was straightforward otherwise.

No point in showing a picture of them installed, because they look like regular bulbs when you turn them on. The difference is that they turn on REALLY fast, when compared to an incandescent bulb. When you get tailgated, that can make all the difference.

Do they have the same resistance as regular bulbs (faster click when you turn?)

Resistance isn't an issue. These are only being used for brake lights. The nice thing is that my engine doesn't slow down when I step on the brakes anymore! (I think my alternator or battery is on the way out.)

Make a vid? That would require a video camera.

I don't know about anyone else, since these are the only ones I've purchased on eBay. I did spot some interesting 1156 bulbs last night when I was poking around though.

Actually, I did see some interesting 1157s. These appear to be a newer product, and they also look like they would fit without modding the tail light housing. They seem to have 3 diodes per chip, with 3 chips per side, and 3 on top.
