OK,..... cough! This is all too hilarious!!!!!!!! Fresh. what I would do is go back and try to strip back off that preservative treatment first. After you are back to the plastic, and wash it down with some lacquer thinner following behind with a clean rag to pick up any residue left behind before it dries back to the surface (lift/deposit cycle), you can then reapply a heavy vinyl stripe to the surface that will likely cover without showing the raised texture of the 2 stripes below. Otherwise, you can use a stripe eraser wheel on a drill if you have one that has a variable speed setting. You need to run them at a slower speed for them to work properly ProTec has one, P/N 9295W Retail around 9.00.
