  • cut and roll those guards.

Hi all, got my new festy, a 93 with aircon and 115k KM , awesome.

    Anyways,
i noticed 2 festys with either cut or rolled guards like in this pic.

howd they do this? is there a way to do this so i don't have to respray? i heard some roling with a heat gun and the paint will be ok, but the pic looks pretty extreme. i want to do about an inch less than the pic. i want some 15s and to lower the thing...
the B6t is ready and waiting in the garage.... .
Negative i am a meat popsicle...

i beleive that festiva is from the phillipines there was a link about it a while back i'll see if i can find it

    1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

That car was highly modyfied. It was a 4 door made into a 2 door!

Yep, and if I remember correctly, he's rolling on 15's with 205/50-15 tires, which he had to cut the fenders, modify the fenderwells, and runs on ultra stiff, short-travel modified JIC Magic coilovers. But it is possible to run 15s without cutting the fenders if you have the right tire/width/offset, just check out Cam's ex-car...
The left lane? Are you crazy!!! I never drive in the left lane...It's full of freaks driving the wrong way and charging right at you!!!

i dont want to cut the guards , but it looks cool..... i know it's hard but if i can do it i will.

i've seen specs on that car but think the cut on it is 2 extreme, i'm only wanting 2 inches....
