An easy way to find out is to pull the rubber boot back connecting the hatch to the car and see if the wire is in the bundle. Saves having to pull the trim piece off of the hatch. My 90L didnt have the latch wire or wire for a rear wiper.

My car was really odd... the wire for the latch switch was in the hatch but there wasn't one in the harness that runs across the back of the car to the hatch light itself!Ian
