Hey Wes, what did he use a a mold for the hoods? Did you get ahold of one to make the mold from? I'm curious as to how the finished product will look. I think an even bigger bulge on a GTX style hood would be cool!

It was made off of a FMS hoods from one of our members. I also think a bigger bulge would be cool, but it's a little to late in the game to make changes. I'll email him again and see if i can't get some pics of a CF one on monday.

Not yet, but I'm sure they look just as good as the ones i showed when we first did this group buy, and he has already showed us the fiberglass copy.

Payments are now being accepted. I'm bouncing around the idea of driving and picking them up or having them shipped. He is getting me a quote for crate shipping this weekend through ODFL carrier.

So soon as i get the shipping qoute I'll take payments either through M/O or paypal. If paying with paypal be sure to add 3% for the fees. I'f i decide to drive out there I'll be taking him a spoiler and hatch to be reproduced in fiberglass.

Yeah it would be sweet and I actually read an article that vented hoods free up hp by lowering engine bay temps.

Yes it would, i'm debating on once i get my CF hood to try and mod my FG one the way DJ did it

ok, but i mean when you get bored and want to make any "cooler" hood styles... and The hoods are in white right? Like the Pic?
