Wow! Thanks for the positive responses, I actually feel good now. My wife didn't have a favorible response, mostly stating "the old ones work fine!" Some women don't understand.... _that's not the point_ (love yah babe!)

Wiring is the most simple part of it, a no brainier.

The grill that is hard part because its a three piece and the ends where the headlights go are too long. 91blufestiva is right, I think its from a 5-series and are too big... I already chopped up the one grill piece prior to install so I know it looks bad right now. I think with a little work it could fit in there very nice. I think getting a grill off a 3-series might be better overall. I don't think I could bring myself to rape a BMW 2002 for its grill. Morals I guess.

Lastly the backs of the headlight buckets have really long headlight adjuster screws so there is a clearance issues there as well. I'm sure I can come up with something.

Well, are you sure that it's a 5 series? Because that is what I thought it was at first, but I looked at it closer, and it lookes like all of the 5 series, the inner light was smaller than the outer light, and on the 3 series, that both were the same size.

              I'm no BMW expert, but I do think that's a 3-Series...maybe a 320i or 318i ?

I wonder if the aftermarket VW mk2 badgeless dual-round or single-round setup could be customized and adapted. If it works it would have a nice clean look. I'm getting out my tape measure later.

I agree with everyone. It looks great, but like other have suggested lose the grill. IMO at least lose the center part and fab something to fit there.

This is what I was talking about. If someone could customize this to fit it should look nice. It would obviously take some work and creativity, though.

also was thinking that he should leave the grill, but (there's always a but) I think that they would not be good due to the line of the vehicle ... would be rare. of course you can change it by another ford a model of straight lines as it has for example the mustang, or if you like could do this:

modify the original grill and make some molds for lamps that fit and combine with the grille.

clear as I have been saying it is easier to do in photoshop physically, but it could be this way
if I write badly....thanks google translator
