You can use the circuit board off a US tach cluster and it will plug right in.

There are however a couple of small modifications you will have to make.
            1. There are two resistors on the back of the Euro board that are larger than the US. I had to use a dremel and open the holes for them alittle.
            2. The speedo cable will have to be moved to the right of the speedo around a brace in the dash, as you look at it from the drivers seat.

Now mount the US circuit board and it's plug and play.

I didn't have to open up anything on mine. Wonder if theres a small diffeance in years? And yes the speedo cable will have to be rerouted as in any tach dash install. (thanks for reminding me, I always forget that!)

Could be Brian, I didn't asked Greg at the Breakers what year they were, I was only glad he had two, and shipped them to me. Will need one now for sure. Finally got the B6 in the 91L this week-end. Ran GREAT till the old fuel pump died. LOL

when i swapped circuit boards on my 180 km'h tach cluster i had to trim it a bit as well

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

you can get the overseas one that goes to 110 or you can mod in a protege spedo that goes to 140, you will have to make a new faceplate for the protege spedo.
