I have the same knock off steering wheel on mine...

I didn't like the silver part so I ended up painting it black and bought new black allen head bolts...

It's not the best quality (one of the original bolts broke inside the hub and I had to drill it out), but it has a real nice feel to it

I paid about the same price for mine....I believe it was $47 shipped, but mine doesn't have the quick release. It feels wayyyyy better than the stock wheel. I say go for it!

                Just info:
The green and yellow badge he has on the steering wheel indicates a first year driver in Japan. They call it (Wakaba) in Japan.
A red and yellow on indicates an elderly (over 75) driver, known as (Koleshiya)

These are used in everyday driving in Japan, not real sure on the story as to how they ended up associated with street racing.

I like the fact that your wheel has some offset. My zero offset wheel places the wheel a bit farther away than I'd like. how does that pleather feel in hand?

E-bay Hub and wheel for only $38

Hahaha yeah I read in a mag that those stickers are getting popular in the states. Part of the whole jdm thing I guess... I like that wheel it would be cool to continue the red stitching over to the shift knob and shift boot.

I read an article about these as well, the writer actually asked some of the local guys what the stickers meant and very few even had answer. Most thought it was related to drifting and sponsorships.

my wheel is a deep set drifting wheel I like it a lot I want to change the color stripe to blue though

the button came with the wheel but did not work with the new hub so I disasembled the one that came with the hub to install the JDM insert
