I use a putty knife myself. Make sure it is not really dull at the end, or it won't get under it as well. As Simon said, just work your way around it.

A heat gun or hair dryer is your best friend when removing emblems
Back to the headlights. Keep us posted. I have a ton of headlights for many makes and models of Fords and every time I dig through for someone them I wonder if I can get any of them to fit the Festy.Comment

Re Ranger H/Lights
I want to get dimensions on a Puegeot 205 Gt I saw in Cuba, It had real neat looking headlights in it, not stock.
They might have been something like the ones shown in the link below,
