  • Adding a horn?

    OK, so the stock festy horn is sweet when you want to let the Hummer know that you are passing them in the snow, but when people cut you off just b/c your little it would be nice to make em wet their pants....

    So I searched all around the forum and old boards and even checked out the manual to see if I could find a wiring diagram for the horn, but no luck. See the problem is, i don't want to replace the stock horn, I want to add a second horn w/ a toggle switch under the dash {no, not an air horn tho I would luv that! just a deep louder fairly cheap one (recommendations welcome)}

    Would I have to get a second relay and run a whole new system, is this just not practical, or can i get by some how else?
    Thanks!!

    dude air horns, seriously

    i got dual air horn set up for 35 bucks(NZD$) which included two trumpets and a compressor and a fuse thing which i never bothered with. had to buy a bit more pipe but swapping over was a cinch just left the old horn in there and stuck the compressor in front of the drivers side front wheel. hooked up the old horn wiring and grounded the compressor, ran the tube up behind the lights and mounted the trumpets under the bonnet. its so easy and cheap. scares the crap out of pedestrians too. I'll put some pics up to show you if thats helpful at all.

        Yeah!
        For a small car like us, they should show us some respect! and we can show them by honking our loud horns that will blow their ear drums.. :lol:

          Hello, first post i think... anyway i install a set of this to my ride (Kia Pride)

          The domain name Safedrives.com is for sale. Call BuyDomains at 844-896-7299 to get a price quote and get your business online today!

          This set up includes wiring diagrams on the box for both installations (with and without stock horn), don't avoid the use of the relay or you will fry the horn in two weeks, i don't know about Festiva's but with Kia Pride's the horns install spots are near the ground and on a place where they get wet easily so previously to installation i wrap the horns on plastic bags to prevent this
