i just finished doing my whole interior, minus the door panels as I need to make new backings for them...

I used a dye/paint for the fabric like carpet and seats and vinyl, they I used mmm Krylon Fusion I believe for the plastic, dash, side panels, etc.

It turned out real good and all i did was clean it up with spray nine and then give it all a good rub with red scotchbrite pad. Only had it done for about a couple weeks now but so far it has stood up well....

pardon the floor, it was muddy out and i tracked a little in the car...oooops

      That looks really good^^
I used Krylon Fusion also. I only put maybe 2-3 coats on everything (lack of money, and wanted to make sure I liked it) and everything is still holding up pretty well. I want to take everything out this summer and repaint and really clean the car.

How does that carbet paint work? You can use it on your seats? Does it look alright, does it look stock? How much does it cost per can?

First off the date stamp on that picture is wrong so you know, I just grabbed an old camera for that pic and was too lazy to set the time and date..lol..

Works pretty good on the carpets, I am sure that after a while in the common wear spots it will need to be touched up but it sure makes everything look clean and new...

It's Dupli-colour Vinyl and fabric paint... I used it on the seats and the only thing I noticed is that since the seats were grey to start the fabric part of the seats turned more of a Dark Grey, Charcoal color. I actually love the way it turned out cause all black might have been too much...The vinyl on the seats turned out real nice and black though and it hasn't cracked or anything. I also used it on the head liner. Almost gives it a leather look up there haha...

And once i get my door panels done you won't even be able to tell it is a custom job, unless you knew festivas were all grey and apparently the odd few tan...

Oh and it was about $10 cdn a can, interior took about 4-5 cans of fabric and 5-6 cans of krylon Fusion for the plastics...

oh okay well white works, I was just hoping it wasn't like yellow outside and red in or some strange combinations like that...

****disclaimer**** no offence meant to anyone with a yellow festiva with red interior

Ronald Mcdonald would have a red interior with yellow on the outside.

I'd totally go Grimace with a Festiva. A deep plum on some black powdercoated honda 13" vx wheels or 14" hx wheels. Finish up with a vinyl sticker of Grimace all so cal sideways style on the hatch window.
