Clever aspire tach install locations?

I can't for the life of me find an aspire tach cluster....so I'll go aftermarket.

I don't want a 6" tach on my dash (bad enough I have the manifold vacuum gauge up there).

So, any good places to install a 3" or 2 1/16" or whatever gauge?

Would the 2 1/16 tach fit in a gauge pod on the windshield piller? Or a 3" on the steering column

I had a 3" SunTune tach on the column of my 94 Assfire. 2 sheetmetal screws, tach positioned at the 2 o'clock on the column plastic.

Tach location

I have mine mounted on the black plastic surround that is in front of the cluster. to the extreme left. I does block my view of the idiot lights in the cluster but it looks damn good and the wires are totally hidden.

try car-part.com there are a few tach clusters on there. just a word of advice, bite the bullet and call the number, parts yards NEVER check their e-mail.

Already thought of that.

Didn't seen any on there that said they had tachs.

I called a couple places and they don't have them. The one that did for $50 had already crushed the car with the cluster in it... darn. It's actually cheaper to get a $30 tach than try to find a SE cluster. I got the mini sunpro from Autozone, it's a little hard to see actually but it will keep me from overdoing it.. at least. I put the tach on the right hand side corner of the steering column, should have put it over further it blocks the temp gauge.
