BTW, Kumalaba... I meant to write "Trukstiva." My wife is trying to figure out how to turn that into a personalized license plate. We only have six letters to work with, tho.
I can never get enough of coming on here and watching the Festiva's beating the crap out of those Mustangs. After my up coming deployment I would like to do a swap on mine, or buy another one to do it on. I also have always liked the look of the Truckstiva, not sure why, guess it just grows on ya.
Greg... Went through all your photos and I'm really impressed. You're quite the wrench.
BTW, I'm trying to decide if I should rewire the Trktva or go with the 20-year-old wiring. Have a new harness already (for another project car). Anyone have a suggestion or opinion?

Time got away from me. I've been sweating the paint which looked really bad when I got Trktva back and finally have sanded and buffed my way to a 10-foot car (hood, at least). Lots more sanding to go.
Pix below include the buffed hood, rear window and bed, the rear lid primered (ready for the vinyl, photo to come), painted front bumper (just finished the rear), and a three-quarter rear shot.

Wow this is so professionally done... I would totally rock that design! I'd probably use a clear plastic/poly cover though for surplus awesomeness. Can you imagine this sort of design with a rear-mount SHO/4G63/monster motor in it? That'd be super sick!
Would like to put a mid-engine small block Ford V8 in it. That's for later. It was hard enough putting a 460 Lincoln in my '55 Ford Sedan Delivery. Sure would be fun trying to shoe horn it into the Trktva!
