  • rear hatch glass seal....

    Can you still get this seal NOS or aftermarket? want to pull the glass for painting ( looks better when done this way ) but most of the time you either destroy the glass or seal getting it out..

    No spitters were I work, you swallow it all. The Company feels if you already have it in your mouth why waste it.

    not needed

    You can carefully push out the glass from the inside. I did it with the hatch lying on the grass. I used a long piece of telephone wire in the groove to reinstall it. No damage at all.

      Might have to ease it out with the use of a hook tool or radiator hose removal tool.

        I've managed to pull the rear glass out of my car without damaging the glass or seal

          alright Ill give it a try. I have done the rope/ wire install trick on several cars
