    Alright, here's what you do...

Leave the broken key in the ignition in the 'on' position.

You're going to cut the wire AFTER the ignition switch for Accessory, Run and Start.

You'll have two switches, one each for accessory and run. You'll also need a momentary, pushbutton switch for start.

I'll throw together a little wiring diagram and post it up in a second...

You can. Post back if you need any help but if you understand how a lightswitch circuit works, you should be able to figure this one out.

Just remember, you're emulating the ignition switch with external switches... that's all.

              nice diagrams crazyrog

sorry hofficergrover, I couldn't tell if you wanted to fix it or not at first. but I think push button starts are great! are you going to kind of hide it or put a button somewhere else to complete the circuit so someone can't just jump in and go? just a thought

you can put a micro toggle under the dash after the relay to cut power to the push button.

                  No problem man
Will hide the toggle switches but the push button will be in plain sight.

Maybe a secondary 'KILL' switch that's in plain sight and labelled would be a good idea...

Yeah it been working for like two days. Also i didn't cut into the festiva harness at all i used some plugs off of a old steering column that was broke and some relays form a ford ranger. Works great!
