If you put the cup holder in the radio slot with the radio beneath in the console don't you have a problem with sweat from cups dripping into the radio? I ask because if the radio is tiled up slightly it would seem to catch those liquids.'93 Festiva GL / "HOT ROD"

^i have my 7"in dash installed in the lx cubby.. and the cupholders in the factory radio slot... drips on my tv and the hard buttons dont work for a week.
i put the drinks in the holder with a napkin under them now

Okay, looks good. Now, how do you mount/afix it? I know the holes are not for screws, so how?

well....it was just a tight fit in my car so it just stays. I agree I think the Protege may look and work a little better. Especially since I want to leave the stereo where it is. I saw a few at the junk yard but didn't have the right tools to get it out cleanly.
