  • Rear bumper answer to Stylus front bumper

First came the Stylus front/rear bumper swap which many of you seem to like.....well, at least you all seem to like the front bumper. I was never a huge fan of the rear bumper myself but since I had both I decided to work with them.

I believe I've found the answer to the stylus front in this rear.......

These are just the halfway done pics. As you can see the width is pretty much spot on, so that takes away the headache of needing to section the center. The one thing I don't like is the opening for the exhaust is on the wrong side (again!). I don't want to deal with rerouting the exhaust so a new cutout was made. Could always go with a dual exhaust in the futuredrool Will have finished pics up soon!

Wow... looks pretty good! What car does that come from? One would think the easiest way to switch exhaust sides would just be to make identical size cutouts (say a sheet of paper in size) and just switch them.

I did trace the original exhaust cutout so I can transfer it to the other side (just rough cut so far) so both cutouts will be pretty much the same. I don't want to try the whole "cut section out, plastic weld back in, etc. etc.". I don't have any experience with plastic welding and I have VERY limited tools to work with already.....I've been doing the cutting with a hacksaw and razor blade so far!

Mounting issues and the heat prevented me from finishing this today. Not sure when I'll be able to get back to it. Looking nice though!

Lane, looks like a circa 1990 Corrado piece to me. (Or up to around '95 anyway.)
