  • Creative Cup Holder Ideas

Just wondering what others have done for cup holders in their Festy's.

I am working on a pretty neat idea right now & will post once done.

I had an idea the other day, get a cup, create a fibreglass mold and cut two or however many you would like holes out of the dash and fibreglass the molds into the dash.

I dont know what clearance would be like, i havent go my dash connected.

Easiest is probably the escort console, and it looks nice too.

I love the new GM one that is vertical in the dash and when you push it, a ring flips out of it as it settles down.

I've seen lots of youtube videos of festys with a clip on cup holder hooked to the far left air vent or in the top seam of the door trim.

I'll have to post up pics of the one I made for my Grumman LLV at work. According to a co-worker its "certified ghetto-fried". But for the festiva the way to go is the Escort console. I do use the "between the e-brake and seat" a lot too, as well as the "pull out the ashtray behind the ebrake and stick a 12oz Dr. Pepper in there"
                            No festiva for me ATM...
