I just put in one of my 93 prelude seats. They are a real close fit to the festivas. On the inside rail I had to elongate the rear hole then that rail bolted right in. On the door side rail I had to make 2 adapters. Had some 3/16" x 1" stock, cut 2 3" pieces and drilled 2 holes in each and bolted it up.

I take some pics but can't upload them from home since my computer is still screwed up.

Here are the prelude seats I installed, comfortable and the price was right, free:

The inside track was almost a direct bolt in and here is all I needed to do for the other side.

just to be on the safe side, I'd weld those tabs to the frame to keep them from rotating in the holes.

oh yeah??? here's an easy 1.. 323 gtx....

Easy install took about an hour to prepare and they bolt up perfectly..

Traded out the GTX bottom seat to the Festiva seat.. cushion fits fine..

Edit: Couldn't stand the pic of the dirty seat..

thanks for the infor they look nice. i had heard the old mr2 seats might fit. but i had an 86 mr2, loved the car but i didnt find the seats to comfy on long trips, despite the bolster supports.

                              leveling the seat

Okay here is a question, im putting in a set of seats from a nissan, something or other, can't remember, but they look similar to the preludes matt has in.

How do I make sure the seats are level. The two bracket pieces I need for each side look exactly like yours matt, but how did you get them so your butt wasn't leaning:-)

Sometimes that is just trial and error. You may need to make some adjustments for your comfort.
