Is the goal just improvement or are you going for top mileage in the spring?

Adding a second nut and maybe a lock washer to each end of the turnbuckle will stop it from spinning but the real fix is an aspire rear axle!

The turnbuckle I installed was too skinny to fit a nut inside (I did think of that, but it did not work......Out came the clamp, lol):p

Yes, are you looking for improvement now then later do you have a goal you want to beat? Like 65mpg?

Having issues with the tape staying on, and I think I may need to change to a more flexible material.......Anyone have suggestions regarding a better way to attatch this thing without tape?

License plate screws and bunge or bracket under hood lip to
                          upper radiator support ?

get a slightly wrecked grill and bond it to the grill
                          and reinstall ?

do you have all your tricks listed somewhere?

One of the better mileage improvements I have inadvertently made was by installing a new oxygen sensor (BTW Aspires have 2 of them). I don't know how you test these things but, much like spark plugs, sensors do seem to wear out in the long run.

Monitoring sensor activity and length of time to warm up
is the best way to tell when they are getting weak. You
play with them enough and you will know. Just watching
the voltage play with a 3 dollar HF digital will do it. The
upper will always be more active and it controls mix. If
only one is present this is it. The 2nd or downstream will
be like the upper but not quite as active, its purpose is to
tattle tale a bad or missing cat. There are videos...

I do like the back end. you should make a fiberglassed one. Have you done weight redux as well? Your fenders only need 3 bolts to hold it on not 6, and so on...lol
