"Angry" headlights idea

I've seen a few guys paint the corners of the headlights to make them angry. It's okay imo. Kind of cool, but kind of cartoonish.

I had an idea how to refine it.
When I was looking at Ghost's car what I saw sticking out like a sore thumb is the gap between the side of the grille and the headlights. If the grille could be made to duplicate the painted shape on the headlight it seems to me it would look more finished. I roughed in the idea with Microsoft paint.

I had thought about modding a festy grill like a vw grill in the past. Either straight across or with the angry look. Same thing you're thinking of pretty much....

actually, Scrappy was like that before Jason got his car on the road, like way back in '03. anyway, it was done with gaffers tape as proof of concept with the idea to mod the hood lip to achieve the desired look, not just moding the grill. i'll have to dig up the pix somewhere.

Well I was just thinking about the hood doing the job. There was a silver festy from poland like that. It looked pretty subaruish on the front end.

that is the green/black colors i am going for....darn...thought i was going to be the first. i have a different concept though.

@ Paul.. i already started reupholstering my seats green and black. Green is my fav color.

I also have the paint and metal flake and flake buster.

It is all in my head..i just gotta make it happen.

I think i may have bought way too much vinyl....if so, you can have the left overs if you want it.

Yeah, where it looks like the hood was too long and made of plastic and someone hit with a heat gun for too long... lol we have several jettas around here sporting that.
