  • my $200 festiva makeover

    i decided to give my beloved festiva a makeover, here are the before pics

    of course when i bought the car it was all one color, but i hit a deer and it messed up my grille, hood, passenger fender, and door. i replaced the back hatch because i accidently broke it out. here's what i used
    $125 herculiner 1 gallon grey kit
    $60 in 20% window tint
    $13 bondo restore black

              I like !!! It should improve your mileage, Mine sweeps road dust off my
              back window now, this tells me we have the aerodynamics of a golf ball!!

                    Another great benefit is the sun doesn't heat the metal of the car as much, so
                    the inside stays cooler in the summer. The Cold in the winter is easier to heat..
                    And those radar trailers that tell your speed? I have to be perfect inline and close
                    to get my speed..
                    This stuff is so easy to clean and have it looking great.
                    You did really good with taping and blocking..looks great!

                      I don't know what bedliner material does for potential resale but you certainly got yourself a durable finish!

                        When I put full coverage on I added value to cover putting this finish
                        on another car..

                        There are no records of sales with this that I know of.

                          Bedliner paint job = inexpensive and durable = very very cool!
