    Don't know how long it's been on. FestivaReed did it when he owned it. The wire is for the HIDs he installed. Retro-fit job from an Acura, IIRC.

      I'm guessing it's related to his HIDs.

        Haha, i see. I was just asking because when i got mine i had a similar random wire through my engine bay that was attached to an "aftermarket horn" lol its and "awwwooggaa" horn :highly_amused:

          Buddy had a van with one of those. It was damaged somehow and sounded like a dying cow. The horn mine has doesn't sound like I remember a stock one sounds, but I can't identify what it is.

            Haha, mine sounds like it has something that kinda "spools" to make the sound and if i hold it on for to long it kinda starts "coughing"

              yellow wire powers the rightside high solenoid for the HID

                lol thats the other mod i forgot to tell you , the horn is from a lincoln town car or some ford boat lol makes you sound more aggressive !

                    Plastidipped the hood of my mustang a few months back (october maybe?) after it bakes in the sun for a few days or a week its pretty durable. Cheap too.
                    Lasted all winter, through icestorms and all.

                      Plastidip is junk, to me. I hate how cheap it looks. I appear poor enough driving a Festiva; I don't need to make things worse by adding a cheesy, satin plastic coating to my car's exterior.
