i don't want you to go away dissapointed FastorBust. i was the only bidder on this new 88 grille on ebay germany 3 yrs. ago. bought it for about $17.00. you're crying i know but my tears were alot bigger when i got the bill from FedEx to get it here. i know a guy in germany who has a new white 89 121 grille FS but i passed just because of shipping cost.

Re: 121 2pc. front bumper partss available

There is a grill and headlights for sale on a Australian site for 100, I don't want to know how much shipping would be.

it's weird how i missed noticing that too. i was always looking at prides and 121's for sale in the UK, AUS, and Germany Ebays for years before i noticed and even then i didn't notice untill i looked at a 121 brochure i had that showed a front close-up. some 121's in Australia have both styles. i don't know if the different provences down there have different safety regs that might explain that anomoly. the Mazda parts catalog calls these a "hard type" bumper cover and the U.S. style a "soft type" but now that i have both to compare i can't detect any diff in the deformability of either. what i like about the hard type is that installed together they will knock over 4" from the length of a festiva and knock about 45 lbs. off the weight at the extreme ends of the car. there are no impact reinforcement bars and styrofoam blocks. the rear cover just attaches to the rear sheet metal with screws. i like the tighter bobbed look it gives especially at the rear.

What I like most about the 121 bumper is that the lower half is modular. That means body kits for that car could have been as simple as a bolt-on, aggressive lower lip. Nice.

You like it, I don't.. hmmmmmm
It's only front bumper wich has steelplate, rear bumber is "big" style -> all plastic, no metal skirt.

But still, ours 121 rear bumber might be smaller than US version.. banana time
Hi! Do you wanna ride with me? I have red cabrio, it has the biggest engine what was available when the car was new. It also has about every possible accessories what was available then.
