Yeah, but that's an extra $70 for about an hours worth of work. I guess it
just depends on how cheap you are. I plan on tinting my new Festiva myself
again when I get some time.

SWRT how close was that precut tint? I generally take my windows out and tint as close to the edge as possible without it peeling.

Pretty much dead on, man. They even cut out for the defroster points on the rear window
and cut out the holes on the rear windows for the screws. It went pretty much to the edge
of each window, leaving a small gap as to not tear back on the seals. I've only had it on a
month or so though so I'm not 100% sure of its longevity, but they have a 3 year warranty...
you know...if they're still around by then.

No problema. I asked them if they can supply 15% tint. If not I may go with a different
seller, but we'll see. The 20% doesn't look bad at all, but it's pretty freakin hot in Florida
            so every bit helps.

Can't wait to have my Festy tinted.

Got one of those Groupon things for a local Car Stereo/Custom shop with good reviews (And they have more than one shop in the area) for $113 for a full all around tint job, with a Lifetime warranty. I don't know the quality of the Suntek tint they are using, but who cares if I can just bring the car back and have them fix it if it fades or turns purple or whatever, as long as they stay in business lol. Also I assume since they mean a full tint job, that means the windshield, since it is legal in Ohio to tint the windshield, but the max is 70% tint (30% block) Thinking i'll do 70% on the windshield, 50% on front side windows (Max legal) and 20% on the back 3 windows. (No restriction on these windows in Ohio)

Though the earliest they had an opening was next Monday. lol

Can't wait though, should looks nice and vastly help the performance of the a/c.

When I lived in TX I used to do peoples windows for $100.00. The easiest way I found was make a template out of thick construction paper for the basic layout. And for the rear windows with a curve, you must do three to four stripes that over lap by @ 1/16". Use lots of soapy water and a soft 6" piece of rubber for a squeegee to remove the air bubbles. I learned all of this watching the pros.... Its easy to do,but its also easy to screw up. Oh and dont forget window prep is also key. You MUST have the window squeaky clean.

Only thing that hopefully won't bite me in the ass. Is that in the terms of this Groupon I got, they exclude some vehicles, like Ultra-Exotics, Corvette Z06s, VW Beetles, and any other "Hard to do" vehicle.
Quick google search and found a Tint forum where they were talking about the hardest to tint vehicles, and Porsche 944 seems to widely considered the hardest, with the Z06, and Classic Beetles. I did see one person mention the Festiva but didn't say why, and no-one commented on it. He could have meant Fiesta as most people are idiots and get them confused all the time. Honestly I would think it would be one of the easiest, minus the trouble that could be run into with the defrost grid wires getting in the way.
