Peg board + chisel + duct tape + Curtain rods + screws + thumb tacks + a nice soft blanket + sweat + 5 hours. So worth it

1. Trace opening in place on cardboard.
- Two pieces with a gap for hinge effect.
2. Trimmed to fit in the grooves.
- check for fit, trim as needed.
- start over because you trimmed too much
3. Use template to mark the board for cutting.
- I just used what i could find in the garage. I had a sheet of hard board.
4. Cut out form with a chisel.
- Because I had one and nothing better to cut with.
- start over because you cut too much.
5. Set in place and duct tape two pieces together.
6. Remove and wrap entire thing in duct tape.
- test by leaving it in the sun for a couple hours. Return to find what looks like a tape taco.
- start over.
7. Add metal rods (curtain rods) for support.
- drill pilot holes from top, attach rods to bottom.
8. Cover with blanket that happens to match interior.
- fasten to bottom side with staple gun.
- realize staple gun is broken.
- use thumbtacks instead
- realize thumb tacks are too long
- clean up blood
9. ?????
