Speed twitch would drive me crazy. I wouldn't be able to put up with that for very long. No more twitch!

Speaking of speedo's....Does anyone know of any Festiva speedo assy. that has the trip meter? Don't need the tack but I find that trip meter handy.

Have done this mod, it's plug and play.

Orange lettering bothers me a bit, but if it drives me too crazy there's always model paint and/or goop up the end with something like vaseline on all areas I don't want painted, then primer and paint. Let dry, and then wipe off the vaseline. Should leave paint only on the recessed (orange lettered) parts turning them white. That's the theory though, haven't done it yet.

          '93 Festiva GL
225996.9 kilometers = 140428.0 miles on the odometer
          ...and definitely more soon..

If you're pulling an intermittent switch at the JY, I recommend pulling the steering wheel, then getting the whole left and right switch assembly. This will give you an extra left (turn signal) side, for when the little bump wears down and they don't automatically self-cancel any more. This way also make it a lot easier to get at the four screws on the back of the wiper side. Overall, it's less time and hassle. I've done it both ways. When you go to install the switch on your car, either install the whole JY assembly or just the wiper side, after pulling your steering wheel and the old switch assembly.
