Aspire heater box swap into a Festiva?

Not to break off subject, or hi jack, but since we are on subject of heating, I have a Q about radiators and heat exchange.

My old radiator crapped out winter before last, replaced it and the heat inside the cabin got a little better...

Could this be due to better flow of the coolant through the new radiator? Maybe the coolant passing through the radiator faster, is keeping the coolant warmer?
I posted this Q before, that I got better heat with the new radiator, but I didn't really get any replies.

You are asking because you did not change the thermostat and noticed warmer heat??
New coolant could cause a change by conducting heat better but a new radiator would not cause that change.
Leaking, air pockets, hot spots and the drama in the cooling system immediately prior to the new radiator
could have cleaned the block, head and heater core for an improvement as well.
