Corbeau's Festiva seat brackets. Says from 1988 - 97, so maybe Aspire too? Maybe they are designed with extra holes to accommodate different Festiva and Aspire bolt locations? Since stock Festy seat brackets don't just bolt right up to an Aspire. Maybe the rear holes are slotted or something.

I wish I had checked that before making my own brackets. Lol. I had Corbeau seats in Tweak, but the current owner has replaced them now. They weren't very comfortable and they were heavy compared to the Sparco and Recaro race seats I have used before.

I built a harness bar too. That way the harnesses are at a safe level. If you secure the shoulder harnesses to the floor you risk spinal compression injury in a collision.

Gotta find a company that will bid/ship it to you. The one I used to use doesn't seem to be doing it anymore. Never used this company but it was the first one that popped up on Google. http://auction.j-subculture.com

I clicked on the "foreign buyers" and it has the info in English. A single seat bracket - at least the one they are selling - is $323 !!!! I think plus shipping.

                        Yikes!

Yup, just picked up 2 seats from the junkyard - $40.

Some minor modifications and theyll be perfect!

We went the sketch route, because at the time i had hardly and idea on how to change spark plugs, let alone build racecars... but we ended up welding down a piece of square bar, drilling 4 holes through the seat mounts/slider bars to lock them in place, and bolting the living hell out of it. We also went with speeddaddy seats on Ebay which i believe were the cheapest of the cheap at the time that met regulations... Capture.jpg. I'd like to upgrade them soon but i'm being pulled in 3 different ways for money, so its a why fix whats not broken situation...

Hey I want to revive this thread to ask if anyone has ever done what hatch said above, rip out the factory seat brackets to make them work for other seats? I just bought bucket seats and want to rip out the factory brackets if I can so I don't have to spend $200 on brackets lol.
92 Festiva L - bp & hydro g, advanced coilovers, aspire brake swapped
