Thanks Clinton. I had read that years ago (mid to late-eighties?) Honda had engineered stamped aluminun wheels for either the CRX or the first VX model.
What Vader said makes a lot of sense to me.
I love our cars as much as any of us, but when we start comparing $8000 econoboxes with $80,000 high end sports cars, we're losing it! (I'm talking here about engineering and design, not reliability.)

I snapped a front lug bolt with nissan steel rims, and of course it did shake when driving, before and after the snap. I'm back to my 12" stock rims till I can get some hub centric, or some that hub centric rings can fix the problem.
Fret not happymom, Honda was kind enough to bring back these wheels on the next body style of Civic. Try a set of 96-01 Honda Civic HX. Same wheel and design only 14" diameter.
