as far as i can tell the aspire and festiva springs are identical. i used a micrometer to measure the spring thickness, the overall width, and the overall hight. i even went so far as to measure deflection by measuring the sprins length when it was compressed by my standing on it versus me not standing on it. every measurment is identical between the festiva and aspire.
the only difference that i can see is the aspire spring preches are situated so that there is more preload on the springs, thus keeping the hight of the heavier aspire about the same as its lighter cousin, the festiva.
i know the struts are for sure different. the aspire front struts have a thicker shaft although they still fit a festiva. different perch mount locations too. the rear aspire strut top perch is positioned lower on the shock shaft compared to a festiva.
*note that the rear top perches are welded to the uni-body and are not aprt of the shock assembly.
