I haven't tried it but have seen a new product called plasti-dip. It basically covers the whole wheel in a coat. After dried it takes almost a electrical tape consistency to the wheel. You can peel it off of if u don't like it. YouTube plasti dip wheels. It's a fairly new product way newer than this thread. Lol

If you mean this stuff, allow me to save you the trouble.
I used it on my Focus' grille and hated it. It did not cover uniformly and basically looks like shite. I followed the prep and instructions to the letter and one month later it was chipping already. For the money, you would think it would work better, that kit is not cheap!
