Theyd be straight and yes I believe you use like the Blue Loctite. On my 90 and 91 I didnt use any, but it probably isnt a bad idea.Search Master - Honorary Member of Midwest Festiva Inc., Gulf Coast Chapter

I have the same rims...not as nice looking though...I just have to get the right size tire for them before I can mount them....but I prefer the Mazda spoke rims that a little horse gave me.... so if I am buying new tires I am sure those will make it on the car before the Capri ones. Maybe snows on the Capri rims.....hmmmmmmmm."FLTG4LIFE" @FINALLEVEL , "PBH"

Hey Horseplay...Whose Festiva is that? I bought the pair of Capri rims...$50.
They're going to need spacers and studs in the rear, hopefully not the front. I'm not buying any parts until I find another pair of rims cheap.
I'm going to dare to post some pics of the clearance issues on this thread. If my ignorance offends anyone, I'm sorry.'88 Festiva L, stock carby engine (with exhaust upgrade), 4 speed tranny. Aspire Struts and Springs, Capri 14" wheels, interior gutted, battery in back

Id like to see the pics myself. And what size spacer you use to correct any clearance issues you have. Studs arent a bad idea anyways. Makes changing a flat a bit easier.Search Master - Honorary Member of Midwest Festiva Inc., Gulf Coast Chapter

^ Please post. I'm in the middle of gathering parts for a suspension upgrade and am already thinking about what rims to buy. The Capri rim looks GOOD!Festiva: Because even my dog can build a Honda.

BEC post something in the Junkyard thread in FS/FT. You might get lucky and someone will run across the ones youre looking for during a JY excursion.Search Master - Honorary Member of Midwest Festiva Inc., Gulf Coast Chapter

Here's the main concern. The rim fits perfect, even hub centric. But there's only 1/8 inch clearance between the rim and the swing arm. The wheel weights hit.'88 Festiva L, stock carby engine (with exhaust upgrade), 4 speed tranny. Aspire Struts and Springs, Capri 14" wheels, interior gutted, battery in back

Rim to rear strut, about a finger's width.

They look really wide at 5.5". Front shows no sign of problems, I had them both on and cranked the steering wheel lock to lock.'88 Festiva L, stock carby engine (with exhaust upgrade), 4 speed tranny. Aspire Struts and Springs, Capri 14" wheels, interior gutted, battery in back

It's 40mm. Rear offset is 130mm for a width of 170mm. I measured it.Last edited by BigElCat; 07-19-2008, 05:33 PM.'88 Festiva L, stock carby engine (with exhaust upgrade), 4 speed tranny. Aspire Struts and Springs, Capri 14" wheels, interior gutted, battery in back
