Okay Nate, when I do the Aspire swap and FMS sport springs/GR2s on Twinstiva I'll have to do some sort of skidpad and/or slalom testing to get a baseline with the Festiva front bar. Then I'll do the Aspire bar upgrade and see how it compares.

BTW, I believe you. My past statements were based upon what I'd read before along with "theoretical common sense" which may not be quite accurate.

if your talking about the LCA to swaybar bushings, the aspire swaybar is the same width as the festiva swaybar there (i posted pics of the measurements a while back to dispel the rumor that they were not the same). For the sway-bar to body mounts in the front you have to use the aspire bushings, no way they would fit the festiva bushings.

          the original thread w/ pics:

Discuss improvements to your Festiva or Aspire in the handling, braking, wheels and tires areas.

and there is a pic of it installed in my latest update thread:

karl - a skid-pad test would be awesome! but don't bother with FMS springs; coilovers are the only way to go!!

Too late Nate! I already bought a used set of FMS springs. On the other hand, I was also interested in doing a setup like you did. It sounds better.
