aspire swap issues

Hey there I'm a little confused concerning an Aspire swap...

Right now I've got an Auto GL sport Festiva... but I've got plans to swap it to a 5 speed later on in its life.

Would I need parts from an Auto Aspire? Would I need to change these parts for manual aspire parts once it's swapped to a 5speed? Or am I just over-thinking things and it doesn't matter if the Aspire is an auto or a manual?

Are there any benefits using Auto over Manual Aspire parts or Vise-Versa?

The auto rotors/calipers are thicker. However they are interchangeable.

You woould need either manual or auto setup from an aspire. Make sure you get an older years becasue the later ones came with ABS therefor they have sensors in the hub/spindle assembly.

as far as i know the spindles are the same for auto and manual aspires, it's the calipers and rotors that are different (correct me if i'm wrong)

Right, it doesn't matter. What does matter is when you do the brakes get the proper Aspire brakes for which type set up you used.

i got all my parts off of an aspire with abs, i just took out the sensors off of the front and cut the wires on the rear. there is no problems that i had exept the drivers side rear brake line was a bit hard to hook up. i had to bend the hard line a little bit to make it work.

also i thought that the auto and manual one where diffrent... arent the shaft sizes diffrent or somthing?

a little bit off topic but, are the auto escort gt ones even bigger than the manual escort gt ones? and are they taller (can you fit bigger rotors under them?)
