  • New 13" Wheels from a Honda

Guy told me they are from a CRX. 13"x5", 40ET. (see attachments) I'll eventually put on 185/60-13 Sumitomo's. For now I'll use my 175/50-13's.

Considering powdercoating them white so they can have the OZ gravel rally wheel look.

I'll be running them on an Aspire swap and on TEIN coilovers. Do you guys think I'll need to run a spacer?

You shouldn't need a spacer with a 5" rim, I'm running 7 inch rims with 40 offset and needed a 1" spacer in the rear.

        CRX wheels test fitted

I think i'll just end up painting them Duplicolor Graphite. White, though fun in the rally sense, is just too flashy. A darker color would be better.

Yes, good eye! I have a stack of 323 wheels with 175/50-13 sumitomo's on there and a set of the GLC wheels that look similar to the Honda one's i have. Will be putting those up for sale. both are 114.5x4, 5" wide.

Thanks! I need two more lights. A set of Hella 500 fogs to augment the headlights. They are just too weak. Plus, it would complete the pseudo rally look.

I know! Your light fetish is not to be topped! I love it. I've always wondered how it is to drive with light coming from the roof. is there any weird glare or hood reflection? I love the zipper graphic, btw.

its nice cause the light will hit the road before you eyes do so there is no dark spots that look like pot holes and cause the lights are so high they can go very far the only down side is that you ALLWAYS have to watch for people comming caues your lights hit them before theres hits yours... like when you come over a hill they will see your lights but you cant see theres, so you blind them but i have learned to watch for there lights on power poles on the side of the road, and trees too... or i can see there roof comming over the hill lol... ald when you hit fog its very hard to see... i have mine set back far enough that it dosnt hit the hood, the first time i had lights on the roof i mounted them far up and it lit up the dash and made it very hard to see so i set them back and bingo... awesome light and the very far outside ones on my car now light up the door panles lol...

yeah, that's why i have my driving light relay triggered by the high beam. They have an on/off switch but the main control is through the main beam stalk. that way i have quick access. On my WRX i had my driving lights hooked up to the OEM fog light switch. it was horrible! When driving through my local canyons I'd be fumbling for the switch, turning on the cruise control and finally turning them off after oncoming traffic passed. So now both cars have driving lights triggered by the high beam stalk. Also a reason why i haven't gone with HID driving lights. I'm always having to flip them on and off and that doesn't work well or is good for the ballasts.
