Seriously, with a bpt engine, which is like 165 hp I think, what difference is 200lbs really gonna make? Also, do they make power mirrors for aspires, and do any of them have dealer installed sun roofs like the festivas?

12.42 lbs to 1hp Aspire
10.9 lbs to 1hp Festiva
Thats assuming your BP is putting out 165 hp. Makes quite a bit of difference if youre racing.Search Master - Honorary Member of Midwest Festiva Inc., Gulf Coast Chapter

Had em both, and the Aspire handles better, better braking, and not just because the car is heavier, better suspension in back. They got the back axle right on the aspire. The festy's seem to have more frame flex, but I don't know if that was because mine was so old 210,000 and rusty. U wouldn't think there would be that much of a difference, but there is. I agree with the idea they should have put a b-6 in it, and the festy gets the win on mileage, and front seat room. Had to pull the stock seat out of my aspire and put a racing seat in lower just to not hit the roof with my head, didn't have to do that in the festy. The speakers in the doors aren't any better than in the lower dash.

the thing that got me into em: price, buddy. because of its archaic looks, every dumb guy thinks its a pile of crap. therefore, my festiva.....$250, craigslist aspire.......$1300it'll do the 1/8 in 13.7, spin tires, and make all my drunk buddies giggle.

I have to disagree on the speakers in doors bit. You get way better accoustics when they're in the doors, plus larger speakers. Research backs me up on better accoustics I'm afraid.1997 Ford Aspire, MTX, Teal, B3E - "Trusty"
