Well, as many of you may know, I recently spent even more money on Expenstiva and swapped the front and rear shocks when I did the 15" tire swap and the 16mm spacers with the new wheels studs...
Anyway here's the dilemma:
When I swapped the shocks, I did the rears first. I used the stock springs as they seemed ok.
When I went to the front, I discovered that one of the springs was actually broken! So, I made a mad dash to the jy and bought a set of stock front springs and all was fine.
I have removed the rear seat and my wife uses this car for commuting back
and forth to school. It's only her 99% of the time.
We loaded ourselves and the dogs in the car (3 large dogs) and went for a short ride. To my dismay, I discovered that the rear end was dragging so much that the rims were actually rubbing the outer part of the fenderwell.
I surmise that this must be because the stockers are simply too weak and old to do much of anything anymore....
Where can I find a decent set of springs for the rear of the festy. Nothing fancy, just something that won't bottom out when the rear seat is reinstalled and loaded with people... BTW, cheap is the key word...
