the flex line looks like it not installed right, its kinda hard to tell from the pic but i'd almost say you installed it upside down

The hook thing i beleive is only meant to stop the flex line from twisting back and forth causing the bolt to loosen, so try spinning the flex line around where it feels like it wants to naturally sit

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

This pic really shows its upside down for sure

Are you sure you didn't put the calipers on the wrong sides? like the passenger side caliper on the drivers side??

Thats what i would assume is going on there

This would be the perfect time for new rear struts, that way you won't need to fight with getting the old rear struts off the festiva trailing arm

I wish i had installed new rear srtuts when i did my swap, would have shaved about 2.5 hours off doin the rear

ok they was on the wrong sides a well the front is all done but bleeding. now on the rear beam could i just cut a hole on the bottom to get a wrench in to hold the nut and then weld a patch over it??

                                broken bolt

I had the same problem. I cut those two brackets off the back with a cut off wheel to get more room to work. Then I used a torch and got the nut red hot and just blew it off with the o2. Mine came real easy. Then I just put a grtade 8 bolt through it with a lock washer. I wasnt sure how important those brackets were so I went ahead and welded them back on. I did this about 2months ago and have not had a problem since.
