  • Noise in front right

At higher speeds I notice a tic tic tic tic in the front end low, let off and it quits. Is this a Cv going bad or in need of lube? Help don't like this, can feel it.

High probability of CV, and more likely outer CV than inner.
Noise is present under acceleration but not at steady cruise.
Noise should also be present and maybe worse in turns.
Even if the boot is intact, it is likely easier and more efficient just to swap the entire axle for a new/rebuilt unit.

see some wear on bushing on control arm could that cause it, don't think it cv's had been changed, look new, right side shakes and stops if you let off, get back into it may be fine or may start shake and tic tic tic noise. In turns not making any noise. I had changed cv's on a mazda already, not they same. Ball joint? thanks scott
