So If I get 14 inch rims, the only possible tires to run are the 195/45/14s?

So I went to Sears and they are trying to tell me that 175/65/14 on a 14x6 rim will work? Anytruth to this? I dont want my wheels to rub and also end up with brake failure.Previous owner of ZEFstivaComment

Also is it possiable to run 15inch rims? Maybe that would be a little easier to get a tire that works for it?
